Main Achievements:

  • Since starting the business in 2017, we now have 5 franchises across England and Northern Ireland (Ride Electric – general public)
  • We pride ourselves on our work with commercial organisations regarding carbon reduction in particular our work with North Tyneside Council, Quorum Business Park, Newcastle NHS trust and Northumbria Police Force. We also run ebike managed services with Gateshead County Council, South Tyneside Council and Sunderland City Council, as well as setting up E-ride Drop (a delivery service which helped support local businesses during lock down) (e-mobilise – commercial partners).
  • Our famous, free ‘Experience Rides’ allow our customers and clients to test a range of ebikes before they commit. We use the hour long session to have a short initial consultation with the client about lifestyle and what they will be using the bike for, then go through the various components and controls on the bike, culminating in a 3 mile ride along our fabulous coastline ensuring the client can really put the bike to the test. This ‘experience’ model has proved to be extremely effective, with a conversion rate of around 35%. This, in turn, results in many of our customers reducing their car usage. Our Instagram page is full of videos from our Experience Rides, showing those ‘e-bike smiles
