Ingrid Johnson With more than 30 years in Broadcast programmes for Radio & TV. Ingrid has worked on air with BBC, Capital, Bauer, Sirius and Sky Sports TV as host, presenter, producer and editor as well as being a multi award winning Voiceover artist for global clients.
As the 2025 double ‘One Voice Award’ winning Voice actor for : Best Female TV Commercial of the year & Best Female Radio Commercial of the year. Ingrid has a full broadcast quality audio studio where she presents a live Breakfast show and works as a voice actor alongside her teenage multi award winning VO daughter Verity Uma connecting with clients all around the world.
Ingrid is proud of her NE roots beginning her career at 18 as the first female Breakfast co-presenter on the then mighty Metro FM and became the first woman to present almost every day-part of the award winning station. After a decade, a move to London and giants Capital FM London for early Breakfast there was a side step into a 10 year stint into TV to present Live national and international Sports coverage for Sky Sports TV.
A return to North East roots meant joining the BBC as broadcaster, producer and editor working on mainline shows from music, speech based programming to faith & ethics as well as large scale live outside broadcasts.
Today Ingrid works for clients such as : Google, Barclays, WIX, Playstation, National Geographic, Sky, BBC, Audi, Deloitte from commercials, corporate, gaming, animation and e-learning to hosting live large scale events and TV broadcasts.
